
Mike Jackson is a professional with a love of the water and an extensive knowledge of boating. He develops in clients a strong sense of their own empowerment and skill as boaters.
Mike has a strong background as a trainer and leader and is a skilled enabler and teacher.
His approach is that of an experienced coach who wants his clients to enjoy as they learn the art of boathandling.
Mike holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-ton Master's license, and has cruised in California, on the Great Lakes and off the coast of Nova Scotia, as well as throughout the waters of the Northwest. He has been a skipper with Seattle's major tourist attraction, the Argosy Cruise Fleet, and has instructed with the Elliott Bay YachtLease program. He has also taught "Suddenly in Command" safety courses for Seattle Yacht Club. Mike is a member of the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association. He is also certified to administer the new Washington State Boater Education test.

For over 15-years, Mike and his wife, June, together with their Bichon Frise "Jolie", lived aboard their 1959 47' classic Richardson motoryacht, the Lady Mick, on Seattle's Lake Union. They now reside ashore in Kingston, Washington
